What the collection log actually tracks

The Collection Log in Eldara records every significant item you have obtained across runs. It is not a simple inventory list. It tracks drops, crafting results, dungeon clears, boss kills, and progression milestones. The log persists through rebirth, which means a completed collection is a permanent account achievement.

This page covers how the log works, how to identify missing items, and how to farm the gaps efficiently. The Abyssal Cape and its 0.03% drop rate from the Abyssal Hornfiend is already tracked here. The new equipment class from Patch 26 is tracked here too.

How to read the collection log

Open the Collection Log from the game menu. The log is organized by category: combat gear, gathering tools, crafting outputs, monster drops, dungeon rewards, and world boss kills. Each entry shows whether you have obtained the item, how many times, and when.

Items you have never seen appear as blank entries. Items you have obtained appear with a checkmark and a count. Items with special drop rates show the odds if known.

The log is connected to the Codex. Completing a full category in the Collection Log can unlock Codex entries. Codex entries can in turn unlock crafting recipes or monster information that feeds back into the log.

Common missing items and how to find them

Gear items after the Lich’s Phylactery

The Lich’s Phylactery is a mid-to-late game dungeon that drops several unique gear pieces. Players often report missing gear items in their collection log after completing the Phylactery chain. The most commonly missed items are:

• Phylactery Tome — dropped by the Lich on the final floor. The drop is not guaranteed on first kill.
• Soulstone Ring — crafted using materials obtained inside the Phylactery. The recipe unlocks after your first Lich kill.
• Boneplate Armor — a rare drop from the bone constructs guarding the Lich’s chamber.

How to farm: Re-run the Lich’s Phylactery on the hardest difficulty you can consistently clear. Bring food for the full chain. If you are missing the crafted ring, make sure you have unlocked the recipe in your Codex before farming the materials.

Gear from the three mythic world bosses

Each of the three mythic world bosses drops themed gear matching their combat style. Players who have only fought one or two of the three mythics will have gaps in this section.

• Melee mythic drops melee-themed armor and weapons.
• Range mythic drops range-themed armor and weapons.
• Magic mythic drops magic-themed armor and implements.

How to farm: Park the matching combat loadout and attempt the mythic that matches your current gear. You do not need to have all three mythics defeated to progress; each is a separate goal.

Dungeon-exclusive crafting materials

Some crafting recipes require materials that only drop from specific dungeons. These materials often appear as missing in the collection log even after you have run the dungeon because the drop rate is not 100%.

How to farm: Check the crafting menu for the recipe you are missing. The material list tells you which dungeon to farm. Run that dungeon on the highest difficulty you can clear reliably. Bank between runs so a full bag does not stop your progress.

The Abyssal Cape and collection tracking

The Abyssal Cape dropped by the Abyssal Hornfiend at 0.03% is wired into the Collection Log, Codex, drop tables, and rebirth collection tracking. This means:

• The cape appears in your collection log once obtained.
• If you obtain it and then rebirth, it remains in your collection.
• If you have never obtained it, it shows as missing.
• The 0.03% drop rate is per kill, not per session.

Practical advice: Do not farm the Hornfiend specifically for the cape. Park the Hornfiend when your melee loadout is already good enough to idle. A cape you get while doing something else is better than a cape you burn real time chasing.

Patch 26 new equipment in the collection log

Patch 26 introduced a new class of equipment that sits above the existing three gear sets. This new equipment appears in the collection log and may show as missing if you obtained your save before the patch.

Check the collection log after Patch 26. New entries may appear at the bottom of relevant categories. These items are obtainable through the same activities that produce existing gear: combat, crafting, and dungeon runs.

How to farm efficiently

1. Identify the missing item and its source. Check the crafting menu or the Codex for the exact drop location.
2. Assess whether you can consistently clear the content. If not, upgrade your loadout first.
3. Cook enough food for the session. Auto-eat is the combat UI.
4. Park the correct combat style. Bring the matching pet if you have it.
5. Run the content repeatedly. Bank whenever the bag is full.
6. Check the collection log between sessions. Progress is tracked automatically.

What persists through rebirth

The Collection Log persists through rebirth. This is a key fact that makes collection completion a long-term account goal rather than a per-save goal. A completed collection log is one of the most durable achievements in Eldara.

The Abyssal Cape, new equipment from Patch 26, and all existing gear entries survive a prestige. Only run-based items reset.
