Launch Updates Hub

Eldara: The Forgotten Realm is a released game. Early Access opened on 15 June 2026. Version 1.0 shipped on 2 September 2026. This hub is how the wiki files those dates so you do not mix a live rule with a patch that already landed. If a Steam news post and a page on this site disagree, Steam wins. This is a fan wiki.

Child pages cover the story that matters for 1.0 planning:

  • Version 1.0 launch — leaving Early Access, the complete 1.0 systems, and the introductory store discount that sat on the page at launch.
  • Early Access history — the unfinished stretch, including Patch 24 (Eternal Forge, 15 August 2026) and Patch 25 (Echo Exchange, 25 August 2026), plus localization work that landed while the game was still tagged EA.
  • 1.0 launch discount — the 30% Steam introductory offer on the game itself (not in-game gold). Always check the live store.

Read 1.0 first if you just bought the game. Read Early Access first if you need to know why Eternal Forge Echoes reset, why crates cost 5,000,000 Echoes, and why the Abyssal Cape is in the drop table. Those systems shipped during EA and remain in 1.0. The “unfinished” label does not.

What this hub is for

Idle RPGs accumulate folklore. Someone will tell you Firemaking is new, or that pets wipe on prestige, or that the game is still Early Access because an old trailer said so. This hub exists to pin the calendar:

  • Released. 2 September 2026. Single-player. Windows and Steam Deck Playable. One-time purchase, no microtransactions. Offline progress. Sixty-eight achievements.
  • Seventeen skills, seventeen pets, three houses, three mythic world bosses. Those are 1.0 facts, not a roadmap.
  • Rebirth keeps Codex, collections, achievements, and pets, and adds about +5 gear refinement per cycle (cap near +50). Forge Echoes reset. That split was taught in August, then shipped in September.

When you need the mechanical how-to, leave this hub. Skill order lives on skill training priority. Houses live on the factions overview. Rebirth logistics live on the rebirth reset planner. Patch pages explain when a system arrived, not how to idle it tonight.

How to read a Steam note against this wiki

Steam posts are primary. They are also messy: a “small update” can hide a legendary cape, and a “major update” can be mostly UI. When you open a note, ask:

  1. Did a keep/reset rule change? If Echoes, pets, or refinement moved, update your rebirth plan before you prestige.
  2. Did a drop rate change? The Abyssal Cape at 0.03% is a published figure from Patch 25. If a later note changes it, the world boss page should follow Steam, not nostalgia.
  3. Did a language ship? Localization was added and improved during Early Access. A new language in a later patch does not put the game back into EA.
  4. Did anything add a cash shop? If a note ever did, this wiki would have to eat its “no microtransactions” line. As of 1.0, that line still holds.

Do not use this hub as a coupon board. Eldara is a one-time purchase. Do not use it as a multiplayer patch tracker. There is no group content to patch.

Suggested filing habit

After a patch:

The official studio site and Discord will also shout. Bookmark them from the official links hub. This wiki will lag on purpose rather than invent a patch number we did not see.

When a Steam post lands, file it here: 1.0 for the live contract, Early Access for the archaeology. Eldara’s patch story is short, but it already explains why Forge Echoes reset and crates cost millions.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is Eldara still in Early Access?

No. Early Access ran from 15 June 2026 until version 1.0 launched on 2 September 2026. Use the 1.0 launch page for the live game and the Early Access recap for history.

Which patch added the Eternal Forge?

Patch 24 on 15 August 2026, during Early Access. Patch 25 on 25 August 2026 added the Echo crate exchange after 64 Forge ranks. Both remain relevant in 1.0 because Echoes still reset on rebirth.

Where should I go after reading patch notes?

To the system that changed. Skills and Firemaking belong on skill priority. Pets belong on the companions roster. Rebirth logistics belong on the rebirth planner.

Where are official patch posts?

On Steam news first. This wiki files planning dates only. Official store, site, and Discord also sit on the links hub.

Will you list every hotfix?

No. This hub tracks the dates that change how you plan a save. UI-only hotfixes belong on Steam. If a hotfix changes keep/reset rules or a published drop rate, the child pages should follow.
