Eldara 1.0 Introductory Steam Sale

Thirty percent off the game at launch — not coins, not a battle pass, not a permanent price.

Eldara 1.0 Launch Discount

What the 1.0 storefront actually discounted

Eldara: The Forgotten Realm left Early Access on 2 September 2026. To mark that date, Steam showed an introductory 30% discount on the game itself. The one-time purchase dropped from the list price (about $7.50 in US-facing coverage, regional stores vary) while the offer window was live. Community notes around launch put the introductory offer through mid-September 2026, with 16 September cited as the end of that welcome mat. Always check the live Steam page. This fan wiki is not a price API.

This is not in-game gold. It is not a redeem code. It is not a battle pass. Eldara has no microtransactions. You buy the client once. The gold guide is about hunting contracts and vendors. This page is about the store SKU.

If you already owned the Early Access build, you already owned 1.0. The discount is for people who had not bought yet. Cloud saves continue. Achievements continue. A June Firemaking level is still there in September.

How to read a launch discount without wrecking the idle

A cheaper purchase does not change the loops. Firemaking is still the global XP accelerator. Auto-eat is still the combat UI. Hunting contracts are still the clean early gold pipe. Rebirth still keeps pets and Codex and still throws away Eternal Forge Echoes. If you bought because the store was orange, still open the first-hour walkthrough and the idle-loop primer before you prestige on day two.

The payment model next to the sale is the fact that matters for guides: there is no “buy XP” button hiding behind the 30%. Lighting fires is not optional because you paid less. Donating to Gilded Hammer is not cheaper in standing because Steam was on sale. Houses, pets, and bosses are 1.0 systems whether you paid list or sale. See the 1.0 launch notes for what “complete” means, and the Early Access recap for Patch 24 and Patch 25 that built the Forge and the Abyssal Cape.

Regional prices differ. A CNY storefront snapshot at 1.0 showed the same 30% tag on a local list price. That does not convert into a gold pile inside the client. Ignore any third-party page that sells Eldara coins or “wiki codes.” This game does not run that treadmill.

What the discount does not cover

It does not add multiplayer. Eldara is single-player. It does not add a cash shop. It does not extend Early Access. The EA banner came off on 2 September 2026. Development continues with patches, but the release status is shipped.

It does not freeze in-game drop rates. The Abyssal Cape at 0.03% is a Patch 25 figure, not a sale figure. Hunting’s 200-contract achievement is an in-game stamp, not a Steam coupon. Those live on the world bosses page and the hunting contracts guide.

It does not replace Steam Deck Playable or Windows requirements. Minimum spec remains a 64-bit Windows 10 box with an older i3, 2 GB RAM, DirectX 11, and about 500 MB of disk. The sale does not lower the RAM line.

After you buy, in order

  1. Enable Steam Cloud.
  2. Park Woodcutting and Firemaking.
  3. Cook. Then take cheap hunting contracts if you want coin.
  4. Pick one combat style. Refine that set. Combat loadouts exist so you do not spend the discount on three unfinished kits.
  5. Unlock the pets that match the skills you actually idle. Seventeen companions persist through rebirth.
  6. Donate to a house only from surplus. Ashen Legion, Verdant Circle, Gilded Hammer cut each other.
  7. Rebirth only after you have read what resets. Echoes are the trap for excited sale buyers who just found the Forge.

Official confirmation of the live price is the Steam store page. Studio and Discord links sit on the links hub. If Steam and this page disagree tomorrow, Steam wins.

The 1.0 discount is a store window on a finished single-player purchase. It is not gold, not a code, and not a reason to skip Firemaking. Check the live tag, buy once if you want the realm, then idle like the sale never existed.
